In the project environment, our involvement at the project development phase can be as signal advisor on client side or as senior member of a bid team. Roles have generally been across one or a number of the following:

Signal advisor to client

Manage/ author studies and reports supporting the need for the project and recommending its benefits against its estimated costs;
Scheme development (in multi-discipline environment) to achieve operational (including transport planning) objectives
Writing of Project Specifications
Recommendations of Technologies for use

Signal advisor to bid team

Project Development in Brownfields environment. Staging, technology and method selection, options development including joint development of bid offer and alternate proposals with other project disciplines;
Writing of Project signalling response, design reports and documenting methodology
Recommendations of Signal Technologies for inclusion in offer
